Automation Engineer/WMS – WMS techno-functional domain, Automation and AI

Role Overview 

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on backend WMS developer and/or consultant with strong experience in WMS domain. 

The candidate work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications and intelligent agent workflows that power mission-critical solutions. 

The candidate will spend significant time, training and guiding other teams to use this tool, leveraging your test automation knowledge and AI tool experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Be a key WMS techno-functional SME in a new testing framework, leveraging AI and significant WMS deep domain. 

• Train other organizations in BY WMS to use this new tool to add customer-specific test coverage, leveraging this new agentic tool. 

• Help to develop and add to the agentic engine of this new tool, leveraging deep WMS techno-functional knowledge. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

Technical Skills 

• Industry Experience with the BY WMS product at a deep techno-functional level (has significant knowledge of the BY WMS, able to implement, modify, and develop upon the existing BY WMS solution). 

• Proven ability to work on complex technical projects and have the flexibility to working in a very dynamic environment. 

• Strong Analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills with ability to engage with stakeholders and train other heavily experienced WMS consultants, developers and partners. 

Soft Skills 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Ability to work in fast-paced, product-driven environments 

• Good communication and collaboration skills 

• Ownership mindset and proactive attitude 

Nice to Have Skills 

• Good Experience on Cloud Technologies and Cloud Delivery. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub etc. 

• Development and scripting background - Python/Shell/ Ruby On Rails other Scripting tools 

• Not necessarily development in AI, but, being able to work in an agentic development environment
