Requirements

  • Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories to automate infrastructure and application management tasks.
  • Implement and manage Git-based workflows using GitLab or GitHub, including version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD integration.
  • Integrate automation solutions with orchestration and scheduling platforms such as Rundeck, Ansible Tower/AWX, and Jenkins.
  • Develop and maintain YAML configurations and Jinja2 templates to enable scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • Create and enhance Python scripts to support automation workflows, validations, and custom Ansible modules.
  • Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and optimize reliability, performance, and execution efficiency.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to implement automation best practices and standards.
  • Ensure automation solutions comply with security, governance, and operational requirements.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, including playbook, role, and inventory management.
  • Proven experience with Git-based version control systems such as GitLab and GitHub.
  • Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on knowledge of orchestration and automation tools, including Rundeck, Ansible Tower/AWX, or Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of YAML, Jinja2 templating, and Python scripting.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Automation-focused mindset with an emphasis on scalability, reusability, maintainability, and operational excellence.
  • Intermediate to advanced Ansible expertise (E2 level or equivalent).
  • Experience working in enterprise DevOps and Infrastructure Automation environments.
