About the role

We are looking for a hands-on HR Systems & Automation Specialist to redesign and modernize how employees interact with HR, bridging together technology, user experience, and operational excellence.


This is a high-impact project role: you will streamline HR systems, standardize processes, implement automation, and leverage AI tools and chatbots to enhance employee experience and HR efficiency. If you thrive on turning ideas into working solutions, from process mapping in the morning to prototyping AI-driven automation in the afternoon, this is the project for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the current HR tech ecosystem (HRIS, ATS, payroll interfaces, performance platforms) to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities to simplify.

  • Drive system consolidation, integration roadmap and implementation planning.

  • Improve usability, consistency, and accessibility of HR touchpoints.

  • Redesign HR processes to feel intuitive, digital-first, and aligned with a strong employee

    experience.

  • Translate HR policies and operational procedures into structured workflows suitable for automation and AI orchestration, including approval flows, exception handling, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths.

  • Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to automate HR workflows (FAQs, policy navigation, employee queries).

  • Build HR chatbots and virtual assistants to augment team impact while ensuring compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI use.

  • Upskill HR teams on AI adoption and automation best practices.

  • Balance business needs, technical feasibility, compliance requirements, and cost considerations.

Key Qualifications:

  • A pragmatic transformation leader: structured, curious, and highly execution-oriented.

  • You have a strong HR background with hands-on experience across core HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, and daily HR service delivery.

  • Fluent in both “HR” and “tech”, you can translate strategy into concrete, usable solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and AI implementations.

  • Solid understanding of employee experience, HR service delivery, and core HR operational processes

  • Hands-on experience with implementation and/or customization of at least one major HRIS platform (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR, Hibob, Personio, or equivalent).
