Lead GCP Cloud Migration Architect – GenAI & Application Modernization 🚀

📍 Location: Remote (US)

🤝 Employment Type: Open to C2C and direct contract opportunities

We are looking for a hands-on Lead GCP Cloud Migration Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and execution of a production migration from AWS or Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

In this role, you will bridge strategic cloud design with direct execution—architecting LLM-integrated application environments, establishing zero-downtime data migration pathways, and ensuring smooth production cutovers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud & Modernization Architecture: Lead production migrations from AWS/Azure to GCP, building scalable, secure, and resilient target-state architectures.

  • GenAI & Application Design: Architect and evaluate LLM-based application patterns, agent-orchestration frameworks, and provider transitions.

  • Zero-Downtime Data Migration: Establish dual-write patterns, data reconciliation, validation mechanisms, and rollback strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Hands-On Delivery & Operations: Guide infrastructure engineering teams on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD orchestration, deployment sequencing, and operational readiness.

  • Strategic Evaluation: Assess emerging Google Cloud AI technologies—including the Agent Development Kit (ADK)—to continuously optimize the future-state architecture.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Lead architecture reviews and phase-gate discussions, balancing technical dependencies, risks, and business continuity requirements.

Who You Are

  • A seasoned Cloud Architect with a proven track record of executing hyperscaler-to-GCP migrations.

  • Deeply experienced with GCP, LLM architectures, data migration strategies, and enterprise application modernization.

  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to guide engineering teams while managing high-level stakeholder communications.
