Mainframe Automation Specialist

We are seeking an Automation Specialist to design, implement, and support enterprise automation and workload scheduling solutions within a large-scale mainframe environment. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, reducing manual intervention, and ensuring stable batch processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support automation platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and scheduling processes.
• Design automated monitoring and recovery procedures.
• Implement workload scheduling standards.
• Troubleshoot production scheduling and automation issues.
• Collaborate with operations and infrastructure teams.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity testing.
• Drive process optimization initiatives.
• Maintain automation documentation and standards.

Required Experience

• 5–10+ years in mainframe operations or systems programming.
• 3–5+ years working with enterprise automation solutions.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
