The Nutanix Automation Engineer exists to create leverage. Migration at scale and ongoing platform operations both generate large volumes of repetitive, error-prone manual work ? pre-migration checks, bulk VM configuration, post-cutover validation, health reporting, provisioning, and configuration drift correction. This role converts that work into scripted, API-driven, version-controlled automation so the migration team moves faster with fewer defects and the support team absorbs more estate without adding heads. The role is measured in hours removed and errors prevented, not in scripts written.
