Job Overview:

Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong expertise in Python development and automation scripting.
  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Unix/Linux administration experience.
  • Git version control and source code management.
  • Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
  • Experience developing ETL, data integration, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and solutions for infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Build extract, transform, and load (ETL) scripts to provide data feeds from patch and RSU maintenance databases to a centralized database.
  • Design and implement processes for extracting data required for centralized reporting and management reviews.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion processes for vendor data feed reporting.
  • Develop automated daily reporting and summary generation processes for management and operational teams.
  • Assist in automating process flows, workflow tracking, and operational activities defined through the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to improve reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and automation capabilities.
  • Maintain technical documentation for automation solutions, reporting processes, and data integration workflows.

  • z/Python development experience.
  • ZOWE API Mediation Layer experience.
  • z/OSMF experience.
  • z/OS and USS (Unix System Services) knowledge.
  • PostgreSQL database experience.
  • Familiarity with mainframe-based automation and integration frameworks.
