We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Automation Specialist<\/b> to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated reporting pipelines that consolidate data from diverse sources (e.g., Jira, databases, APIs) into actionable, executive -level dashboards and reports using Tableau, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and timeliness.

Core Responsibilities

The following balances technical execution with strategic alignment, ensuring the role drives efficiency and informed decision -making:

  • Partner with executives, data teams, and IT to define reporting requirements.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and reduce manual effort.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Create interactive, visually compelling dashboards tailored for executive audiences.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with agile teams to align portfolio reporting with business KPIs.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for non -technical stakeholders.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Jira (agile/project metrics), databases, APIs, and other systems.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Build and maintain automated workflows (e.g., Python, SQL, or tools like Alteryx) to refresh data pipelines.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Optimize queries and calculations for performance and clarity.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Leverage Jira’s API/REST endpoints to extract project metrics (e.g., sprint velocity, backlog status, issue trends).
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Implement data governance best practices (e.g., row -level security, data validation).
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Document processes and provide training for end -users.

    Required Skill

    Technical:
    <\/div>
    • Proficiency in Tableau (calculations, parameters, dashboards).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with Jira (API, JQL, agile metrics).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • ETL tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Alteryx) and data warehousing concepts.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Basic scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell).<\/span>
