The Salesforce Automation Engineer will support the Salesforce CoE by designing and implementing Salesforce-based automation solutions that enable critical government programs, including case management, eligibility determination, and citizen engagement. Working under the guidance of a Solution Architect, this role translates architectural designs into secure, scalable, and high-performing Salesforce applications.
Develop and implement Salesforce automation solutions to support program and agency requirements
Configure and customize Salesforce using declarative tools (Flows, OmniStudio, Validation Rules)
Build Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) as needed to automate business and case management processes
Collaborate with Solution Architects and stakeholders to deliver secure, efficient solutions
Support Salesforce-based case management and public sector workflows
Level II: 7+ years of experience on complex projects, including 2+ years in a leadership role as an Automation Engineer
Level II: 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Service Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM/Case Management, etc.)
Level II: 3+ years of experience configuring and customizing Salesforce using declarative tools and Apex/LWC
6+ months of experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
1+ year of experience with Salesforce data and security models
6+ months of experience configuring Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
6+ months of experience with public sector case management configurations
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification
