Senior Playwright Test Automation Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will serve as a Playwright Test Automation SME responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts. The role involves assessing applications, establishing automation frameworks, and guiding application teams on optimal testing strategies across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Assess applications and recommend the optimal test strategy, coverage, and automation approach.
• Guide application teams on what should be tested across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Identify opportunities to reduce testing effort, improve efficiency, and increase automation coverage.
• Establish reusable frameworks, best practices, and coding standards for test automation.
• Collaborate with developers, business teams, and QA teams to ensure quality is built into the SDLC.
• Analyze manual test suites and recommend automation candidates to maximize ROI.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
• Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Design, Regression Testing, and Test Automation Frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
