Senior Test Automation Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for porting existing test suites, scripts, and Jenkins pipeline jobs to execute natively or via emulation on Client hosts, developing Python PyTest frameworks to validate core compute and kernel functionality under automated stress conditions, and implementing QEMU emulation wrappers within build pipelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Port existing test suites, scripts, and Jenkins pipeline jobs to execute natively or via emulation on Client hosts.
• Develop Python PyTest frameworks to validate core compute and kernel functionality under automated stress conditions.
• Implement and maintain QEMU emulation wrappers within build pipelines to enable rapid software verification.
• Debug test failures, build pipeline errors, and environment mismatches across architecture targets.

Qualifications:

• Education & experience: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus heavy experience in test automation and pipeline development.
• Testing Frameworks: Mastery of Python and PyTest for complex system-level test automation.
• CI/CD Systems: Hands-on experience developing Jenkins shared libraries and Groovy pipeline scripts.
• System Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux environments, Docker/QEMU virtualization, and multi-architecture build scripts.
