They are currently seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join their team in 
Krakow on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to work with modern automation 
frameworks, Big Data testing and AI-assisted tools while contributing to high-quality 
software delivery.
Position Overview
As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and 
reliability of Big Data solutions through comprehensive test automation. You'll design and 
implement automated test scripts using Python, work with modern testing frameworks, 
and leverage AI tools to enhance test preparation and automation design. This position 
directly impacts the delivery of reliable data solutions and supports the organisation's 
commitment to quality assurance across their technology stack.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop Python-based test automation scripts for Big Data applications
• Implement automated tests using frameworks such as PyTest or Robot Framework
• Build and maintain API tests using tools like Postman and Requests library
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Conduct Big Data testing to validate data quality and processing accuracy
• Automate browser-based testing using Selenium for web applications
• Leverage AI tools to assist with test preparation and automation script design
• Manage test code using Git version control systems
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Requirements
• 6-8 years of professional experience in test automation
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for test automation purposes
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest or Robot 
Framework
• Proven Big Data testing skills and experience
• Knowledge of API testing tools including Postman and Requests library
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with browser automation tools such as Selenium
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools for test preparation and automation design
• Experience with PySpark is advantageous
