Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Playwright, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, and API Automation, with a strong background in designing and building scalable automation frameworks from the ground up. This role requires a self-driven professional who can independently lead UI automation initiatives, establish automation best practices, and drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with development, business, and QA teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality software delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build scalable automation frameworks from scratch and define automation standards, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Perform API automation testing and validation to ensure service reliability and quality.
- Utilize Selenium WebDriver, BDD methodologies, and Cucumber frameworks for automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis activities.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and framework stability.
- Mentor team members on automation framework design, test automation best practices, and quality engineering standards.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, release validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Support CI/CD integration and continuous testing initiatives.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright automation framework development.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale automation frameworks.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience implementing BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
- Strong API automation testing experience.
- Experience creating reusable test components and automation libraries.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
