Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in test automation design, development, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and API Automation. Responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, supporting continuous testing initiatives, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. Work closely with development, product, and QA teams to drive end-to-end automation strategies across web applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and automation suites.
  • Create and execute UI automation and API automation test cases.
  • Develop robust automation solutions using Playwright with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) automation frameworks using Cucumber.
  • Develop reusable test scenarios, step definitions, and automation components.
  • Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.
  • Analyze test execution results and identify defects and quality issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, strategy definition, and release validation activities.
  • Ensure automation suites are integrated into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  • Contribute to automation framework improvements, test reliability, and overall quality engineering best practices.
