Automation Specialist

Role Overview

As our No-Code/Low-Code Automation Specialist, you will design, build, and maintain the automations that keep WarriorBabe running smoothly. You’ll work across Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, and any other platforms required to connect our tools and data. Your deep understanding of no-code and low-code solutions, paired with strong API knowledge, will ensure our workflows are robust, scalable, and easy to troubleshoot.

Key Responsibilities

• Build New Automations: Translate business requirements into end-to-end workflows using Zapier, n8n, HubSpot workflows, and similar tools.
• Maintain Existing Workflows: Monitor performance, update logic as our processes evolve, and document all changes.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve Errors: Quickly diagnose failures or data mismatches, implement fixes, and communicate incident details to stakeholders.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work autonomously but keep the team informed via Slack—share status updates, propose improvements, and ask clarifying questions.
• Documentation: Maintain clear, concise documentation of each automation’s purpose, architecture, and configuration.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• No-Code/Low-Code Expertise: 2+ years hands-on experience building production workflows in Zapier, n8n, HubSpot, Integromat, or similar.
• API Proficiency: Strong understanding of REST APIs—including authentication, JSON handling, rate limits, and error codes.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to anticipate edge cases, design for resilience, and catch subtle data issues before they become problems.
• Written Communication: Excellent command of written English; comfortable coordinating entirely over Slack and clear in documenting technical processes.
• Autonomous Workstyle: Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of managing priorities in a fully remote environment.
  
  

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Coding Background: Familiarity with JavaScript and/or Python for custom function development, scripting, or leveraging SDKs.
• AI-Driven Automations: Experience integrating AI services (OpenAI, Zapier AI, etc.) to augment workflows with natural-language processing or predictive logic.
• HubSpot CRM: Advanced use of HubSpot’s workflow builder, custom objects, and API.
  
  

Work Environment & Culture

• Communication: Primary collaboration via Slack; occasional huddles or Zoom calls for planning and reviews.
• Schedule: Must overlap core business hours in Eastern Time (ET).
