As a AVV Validation Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Intel's cutting-edge hardware platforms. By developing innovative validation tools and automation methodologies, you will contribute to ensuring the functional health of Intel products under both nominal and rigorous conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across architecture, design, verification, and manufacturing teams to transform ideas into impactful solutions that streamline validation processes. Your work will directly influence Intel's success by driving efficiency, enhancing software quality, and enabling faster debugging and deployment cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize functional validation testing tools and methodologies to ensure hardware functionality and reliability.
  • Write automation scripts to execute validation content, collect data, and store and visualize results in a centralized location.
  • Define and refine validation automation tools and frameworks to enhance team efficiency and support functional testing execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug platform, firmware, and silicon issues and identify root causes.
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) solutions for systems under test, using the latest software stacks.
  • Create and deliver solutions for high-value items using tools and automation, such as automated execution and optimization of testing pools.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience as per business needs.
  • 2+ years of experience in:
    • Automation, validation, or related functions.
    • Python programming for automation and debugging tasks.
    • Post-silicon validation and debug flows.
    • Hardware platforms and validation processes.
    • Data management tools for debugging purposes.
  • Advance English level.
  • Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within CI/CD environments to optimize deployment cycles.
  • Familiarity with debugging processes for firmware and silicon-level issues.
