This is a temporary position, with a contract length of 1 years, with the potential to be extended. We are seeking a passionate Power/Thermal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this temporary one-year role, you will play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge software capabilities for Intel Server products, ensuring high-quality launches and in-Fleet product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain power diagnostic and thermal analysis tools to optimize Intel Server performance.
Define and drive critical power and thermal stress workloads across platforms, developing a roadmap for power management integration.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to replicate and debug power and thermal issues, providing impact assessments and solutions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Fluent English
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics or related STEM field.
4+ years of experience of experience in any of the following:
Software development experience.
C/C++ programming and debugging, including object-oriented design.
With multithreaded programming techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in:
x86 assembly coding and debugging
Knowledge of Intel Xeon architecture, including Un-Core and platform. Familiarity with system software components such as Linux and Windows internals, drivers, and runtime.
Knowledge in Xeon performance monitoring tools and hardware hooks. Familiarity with thermal and power customer validation and debug use models.
Familiarity with system software components such as Linux and Windows internals, drivers, and runtime.
