Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the functional validation of FW micro code for silicon products.
- Assist in debugging and performance analysis to identify and resolve issues.
- Support validation coverage to ensure product quality and readiness.
- Participate in test automation and data analysis for validation.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of validation infrastructure and test environments.
- Work on projects and tasks that align with Intel's business goals, gaining practical experience in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Learn
As an Patch Validation Student Worker, you will gain hands-on experience in silicon validation while working alongside experienced engineers on real-world products. Through this role, you will learn how to:
- Perform functional validation of firmware microcode (MCU/FW) for silicon products
- Understand how silicon validation supports product quality, power, performance, and reliability
- Apply debugging and performance analysis techniques to identify, analyze, and help resolve validation issues
- Use validation tools, scripts, and automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Participate in test automation and data analysis, gaining exposure to industry-standard validation workflows
- Contribute to the development and use of validation infrastructure and test environments
- Work across teams to understand how validation aligns with Intel’s business goals and product lifecycle
- Build foundational skills in hardware-software interaction, silicon readiness, and engineering best practices
- This role provides meaningful exposure to cutting-edge technology and prepares you for future roles in validation, firmware, or silicon engineering.

Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
- Completion of at least 50 percent of bachelor's degree coursework.

- Programming with any language
- Using Software tools such as Git Hub
- Linux
- Advanced English level.
- Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Python programming and scripting.
- Experience using Software tools such as Azure Pipelines and PBI is a plus
- Understanding of server and SoC architectures.
