Position: Security Automation Engineer (Endpoint Security)
Client: Financial Sector
Location: Toronto (Hybrid) - 3 days onsite per week
Duration: Six Months (Potential for extension)
Language: English
 
Job Overview
We are seeking a Security Automation Engineer to build and scale automation and orchestration solutions across endpoint security operations using XSOAR, Python, and APIs.
 
Responsibilities

  • Develop XSOAR playbooks and automated workflows
  • Automate:
    • Agent coverage & version monitoring
    • Vulnerability/TSS and Tenable scan monitoring
    • Technology currency & change record creation
  • Build workflow orchestration (scheduling, pipelines)
  • Integrate tools via REST/SOAP APIs
  • Maintain code using Git
  • Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer
Requirements

Must-Have:
  • XSOAR orchestration & workflow configuration
  • Strong Python skills
  • Experience with workflow orchestration (scheduling/automation)
  • API integrations (REST/SOAP)
  • Git/version control
Nice-to-Have:
  • Endpoint tools (CrowdStrike, Tenable, BeyondTrust)
  • Agent lifecycle management (coverage/versioning)
