Position: Security Automation Engineer (Network Security Operations)

Location: Toronto (Hybrid) - 3 days onsite per week

Overview:
We are seeking a Security Automation Engineer to design and implement automated workflows across network security operations. This role is focused on automation, orchestration, and integration, leveraging tools like XSOAR and Python to improve efficiency and scalability.
 
Responsibilities

• Develop automated workflows for:
  • SSL certificate renewal
  • TSS monitoring
  • Technology currency tracking
  • Automated change record creation (ServiceNow)
• Configure and manage Cortex XSOAR playbooks
• Build automation using Python and workflow orchestration (DAGs)
• Integrate systems using REST/SOAP APIs
• Support CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Document solutions and provide training/knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver automation solutions

• Experience with XSOAR (or similar SOAR tools) and workflow automation
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with DAG/workflow orchestration
• Hands-on with API integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git
• Strong documentation and collaboration skills

• Experience with network security tools/APIs (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle
