Join Intel as a Technical Sales Engineer specializing in our strategic Microsoft Azure partnership. This commissioned sales role combines technical expertise with business development, focusing on co-engineering solutions using Intel Xeon processors and accelerators. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and cloud infrastructure, directly influencing the roadmaps of two industry giants while driving significant revenue opportunities.
Candidates must be willing and able to commute regularly to customer sites and team meetings in Redmond area, Washington. Preference will be given to those located within approximately 30 miles, or those who can reliably travel to the area as needed
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical engagements with Microsoft Azure teams to co-engineer solutions using Intel Xeon processors and accelerators
• Optimize critical workloads including AI, analytics, and databases for Intel platforms to demonstrate performance and total cost of ownership advantages
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Microsoft stakeholders, serving as Intel's technical advisor and advocate
• Influence strategic direction by aligning Intel's product strategy with Microsoft Azure's infrastructure and service roadmaps
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives from proof-of-concepts to full-scale deployments across internal teams and external partners
• Drive revenue growth by uncovering and closing new design win opportunities that result in billed revenue
• Monitor competitive landscape including AMD, NVIDIA, and ARM solutions to effectively position Intel's value proposition
• Troubleshoot technical challenges in Azure's use of Intel hardware, coordinating with internal engineering teams for resolution

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or related field and 3+ years of experience or 5+ years of experience in lieu of the degree in the following:
Understanding of datacenter and cloud infrastructure, including CPUs, accelerators, networking, and virtualization.
Technical roles (e.g., systems engineering, solutions architecture, technical program management).
With cloud workload optimization.
Manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience:
Working directly with Microsoft Azure or other hyperscale cloud providers.
With Intel Xeon architecture, firmware (BIOS/BMC), and platform-level features.
In competitive silicon offerings (AMD EPYC, NVIDIA GPUs, ARM-based solutions).
In co-engineering or joint solution development with large enterprise customers.
Background in AI/ML, confidential computing, or workload acceleration technologies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $178,520.00-366,170.00 USD

Work Model for this Role
